Community Involvement
Everyone that owns a home in the Preserve is a member of the Association. We need to be active and make sure our community is kept up as far as outside maintenance on home and property. If you see a home or property in disrepair, whether it be a private home or common area, please report it to our management company, Bayside Management @676-6446. We also have a Neighborhood Watch program, and if you see any individual or vehicle in our community that you feel does not belong call the Police non-emergency line @ 406-2200 and report it. We want to keep our community safe and beautiful for our families. Please attend the board meetings if you want to contribute with any suggestions or duties. The board itself cannot be everywhere all the time and need your help.

Curbside collection to become easier & greener The City of Melbourne will begin a new garbage and recycling collection cart program that will start October 1, 2010. Beginning August 16, Waste Management (WM) will begin delivering all residents a garbage cart and a recycling cart. They will start delivering them in the northern-most part of the City and work their way south. Each resident will receive one 96-gallon cart for garbage and one 64-gallon cart for recycling. These are sturdy, user-friendly carts with wheels. Mobile home parks and retirement communities will receive the smaller 64-gallon cart for garbage. Other customers or HOAs can request the smaller garbage cart if they choose by contacting the ECO Division at (321) 953-6302. Residents can also purchase an additional cart from WM for $70. Mondays and Thursdays from the south side of Sarno Road to the southern City limits. This schedule also includes the beachside portions of Melbourne.
